The Jordanian Nursing Council, with the participation of a number of nursing directors and nursing education officials of the hospitals in the North Region in the educational building / Princess Basma Hospital, organized an awareness workshop as part of the campaign held by the Council to educate health institutions and nurses about their role in renewing the license to practice the profession every 5 years after completing the requirements for continuous professional development hours. The workshop aimed to introduce the Health Professions License Renewal System No. 46 of 2018 and the professional development instructions issued accordingly. The Council also discussed the criteria and principles for approving continuing professional development activities for the professions of legal nursing and midwifery issued by the Council, which clarifies the procedures for achieving the requirements of continuous professional development for the purpose of renewing the license to practice the profession within the foundations and standards that keep pace with national and international developments.
